Circuit Changes Today

Some network changes at our servers' home will require services to be shutdown for a limited time (a few minutes to a few hours). MM!!'s game server host #1, which also hosts TS, will be down for the longest but should be back in service by Saturday evening.
Not to worry, everything will return to normal by the end of the weekend.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

As you all have probably noticed, we have been getting hit with a big bunch of spambot registrations to the forums. As a direct result, we've turned on "Administrator Member Activation". This means that whenever a new member signs up on the forum, an admin will have to activate them before they can post. Hopefully this will cut down on the spambots.
Thoughts? Concerns? etc...... email the admins from the link provided on the homepage. It's all good. That's where the activation emails are going.

Some services may go down temporarily today

Due to unexpected environmental flux (read: some dumbass has shut down the building A/C), some of our servers will have to be shutdown today. Those include: CS:S, Alien Swarm, HoB, TS, and BFBC2 admin tools. If the dedicated server room a/c holds, we'll stay up, but when maintenance staff does this, they end up pumping 95F air into the room, which overloads our aux air management. Currently, it's 86F in there and holding, which isn't good, but isn't thermal runaway, either. So I'm keeping things running as long as I can. We don't want something to pop!
Thanks for your patience and I hope to have this rectified in the not-too-distant future.

Of all things...the video card...has failed on MM!! server #2, which hosts our Team Speak, HoB, CS and other services. This $20 part (including expedited shipping) is standing between us and our jovial banter, but rest assured that it will be back in perfect condition ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience folks!
Stay tuned because I may put a temporary server in place while we wait for the spare parts to arrive. More to come.
